How to Use Chat

## How to use Participant Chat In situations where an opponent is not confirmed, you can chat directly with the host. When a match is confirmed, you can chat with your opponent or ask for an organizer. ### How to Open Chat Screen 1. Access the [**Bracket**] page of the tournament in which you are [logged in](/help/signup-login). 2. Click your match card. ![Next match card](/assets/figures/help/en/bracket-next-matchup.png) 3. The chat box will be displayed on the right side of the screen when accessing the desktop version of Tonamel. If accessing the page on a mobile device, please tap the chat button on the bottom of the screen to display the chat window. ### How to Post a Chat You can post text (up to 1000 characters and no emojis) or images (.jpg, .png, .gif only) in the chat. ### Call the Organizer If you have any problems during the match, please alert the organizer by clicking [**Call the organizer**] at the top of the screen. ## How to Use Organizer Chat You may chat with participants in any match where the match card is confirmed or a match result is still undecided. Chat logs of each match card can be viewed without joining the chat. If you want to send messages, click [**Join**] to join the chat. ### How to View Chat 1. Access "[https://tonamel.com/organize/](https://tonamel.com/organize/)" with [Login](/help/signup-login). 2. Select a tournament. 3. The chat box will be displayed on the right side of the screen when accessing the desktop version of Tonamel. If accessing the page on a mobile device, please tap the chat button on the bottom of the screen to display the chat window. ### How to join / leave chat 1. Click the match card you want to join and open the chat. 2. Click [**Join**] at the top of the screen to join. 3. Click [**Exit**] of the joined chat to exit. ### How to Post a Chat When you participate in the chat, you can post text (up to 1000 characters, no emoji) or images (.jpg, .png, .gif only).
